HNBR Hydrogenated Nitrile Rubber

Nitrile rubber is fully or partially hydrogenated.
Heat and oxidation stability increase through peroxide curing. This means, the higher the degree of hydrogenation, the higher is the resistance to aging, heat and ozone.

The mechanical properties are very good. HNBR shows good resistance to high addivated oils at high temperatures. The materials are characterised by high mechanical strength and improved abrasion resistance. The temperature resistance ranges from -20°C to 150°C (some settings from -30°C to 175°C).
